Most products on our website are available with Free Next Day delivery as standard. This will be displayed on the product details page. Orders received by 1.00pm will be delivered the following working day – please note that orders received by 1.00pm on Friday will be dispatched the following Monday. We do offer Saturday delivery services, if you wish to specify Saturday delivery please contact our sales team via telephone or email and they will be able to provide you with a quote for Saturday delivery.
We can deliver most products on a specific day for you, please contact our sales team who will be happy to guide you through our range of delivery services and choices. The default service is Next Day but at no extra cost, you can select your preferred delivery date. Delivery dates that are Monday to Friday are delivered free – there is a surcharge for delivery on Saturdays – please see Saturday Delivery below for further details.

Where a product is not able to be delivered on a next day service it will be delivered using the fastest service possible. An indication of the expected delivery time will be shown on the product details page. Please note that this is an estimated indication of the delivery time and is not a guarantee as the delivery time will depend on your postcode and the delivery schedule of the delivery company in your area.
All stock messages are an estimated indication of delivery time and not a guarantee. Estimated number of days quoted on product pages are always working days. Please see below for an explanation of our stock messages. Please note that for outlying areas, for example, Cornwall or Scotland delivery times may be higher.
Next Day Delivery – Items will typically be delivered next working day on orders placed before PM.

Available to order – Items are made to order and order delivery times are subject to change, if you place an order we will contact you with a delivery estimate once production has commenced. If you would like a delivery estimate prior to ordering please contact our sales team.
Any items with delivery times quoted exceeding 10 working days or with a stock message simply stating Available to Order or Call For Availability are considered to be special order items, this means that the item is not held in stock and will be specially made to order, or specifically imported into the UK for the customer. This will mean that delivery times are subject to change under certain circumstances so we would recommend taking this into account when placing your order.
All of our products can be delivered to any UK Mainland addresses. Certain postcodes may take longer for delivery and certain postcodes may be subject to a delivery surcharge.

We offer various European delivery services on the majority of products we supply. The surcharge on European deliveries can vary significantly please contact our sales team for an accurate quote. Our website will not automatically calculate shipping to surcharge areas as this needs to be quoted for by our courier on a case by case basis so please contact us before placing your order to get a quote.
Most of our smaller products are delivered using a one-man delivery company. This means the delivery driver will deliver to your front door and is not insured to enter your house. If you live in a block of flats or apartments then the driver will only deliver to the ground floor lobby or a communal area. If you require assistance to take your product upstairs then you will need to make suitable arrangements yourself. You may request that the driver helps you take your order into your home but this is at the discretion of the individual driver. If the driver does agree to help then please note that any damage to your property is under your household insurance as we are unable to accept liability for any damage to possessions or property during delivery.
Larger items like large executive desks and most chairs over £400 will usually be delivered using a 2 man delivery service. Two-man deliveries for special order items will deliver to a room of choice and remove all packaging for you. This is a premium service that is generally designed for fully assembled items and gives you the satisfaction of not having to unpack the unit and allows you to check for damage. It is your responsibility to fully check the product for any damage or marks as you will be asked to sign that it has been delivered in perfect condition. Please note that once you have signed for the goods you will not be able to claim for damages afterwards so please take your time – the delivery team are instructed to wait to give you the time needed to ensure you are happy with the product
Pallet delivery - on certain larger items we have the option to send on a palletised delivery service, this means the furniture will come strapped to a shipping pallet, whilst this is not our preferred option of sending furniture as it is left at the kerbside and not brought to your door we do offer it as it means the furniture can be delivered much more quickly than on a 2 man service which to certain postcodes can only be covered every 2-3 weeks.
Note: Whilst we normally sell to businesses we do also sell to private users too and under UK law have to offer a returns policy on those sales. The returns policy applies to individual consumers only, for normal business to business sales we can not usually offer returns.
If you as a non-business user change your mind or are unhappy with your product then don’t worry we offer a returns policy where you can return the item within 14 days for a full refund. Whatever the reason we will take your order back within 14 days for a full refund. You will be responsible for the return of the goods to us and any return shipping costs. We can collect the goods from you and will charge you the cost for the collection. Details of any charges can be advised on request.
Once your order has been dispatched it cannot be cancelled. If you refuse an order, it will then be treated as a customer return where the return shipping costs will be deducted from your refund. Under UK Law the Consumer Contracts Regulations state that a customer can return the goods for any reason within 14 days of the date after the delivery date provided it is returned with the original packaging and all items returned in the condition they were received.
If you have opened the box to examine the goods you must have done so without damaging or marking the product or packaging. The goods must not have been used or assembled. You have a duty of care whilst the goods are in your possession and as such we advise you to return the goods packaged within their original packaging to ensure they are not damaged during transit to us. Goods received back incomplete or in a damaged or used condition will either be returned to you and the cost of delivery charged to your account or we reserve the right to levy a surcharge on such returned goods at a minimum 15% of the invoice price.
The following sale types, unfortunately, must be excluded from the returns policy:
1) In-store sales - Where a customer has viewed an item in-store prior to their purchase either online in-store or over the phone.
2) Special order sales - Where an item is not normally stocked but has been ordered into stock specifically at the request of the customer, or has been commissioned, imported or manufactured to a customer’s specifications.
3) Business to business sales - Where we sell an item directly to a business user.
We must also reserve the right to deduct the cost of any install service from a refund - where a customer has taken an enhanced delivery service for their item which exceeds a normal door to door courier delivery.
Should you wish to return your goods then please contact us on 01484 420088 and we will process your return for you. We will then issue you with a returns form and returns number that will need to be added to your returned goods to enable us to process your refund. Please do not write on the box as the items do need to be returned in a saleable condition. A small label will suffice. Please note that to enable you to return your goods we ask that they are returned as new with all the original packaging with all instructions and screw bags unopened. Refunds will be processed within 14 days of us receiving the goods back into our warehouse to give us time to examine them. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept returns where they have been assembled or modified in any way. Additional charges may apply if the product is returned in a non-saleable condition.
We only stock products from major manufacturers who perform all kinds of drop tests to check the packaging is good enough to protect their products so damage in transit is very low.
However, if you are unfortunate enough to receive a damaged product then don’t worry we will replace the damaged part or the whole unit depending on the severity of the damage.
Once you sign for the delivery it is signed as delivered in good condition unless you say it is damaged. Please write on the delivery note or drivers handheld device that the item is damaged even if it appears to be only cosmetic damage to the box. This is extremely important to allow us to claim for any damages. If the damage appears to be significant then you can refuse the delivery and the item will be returned to us. We will then organise for a replacement to be sent out at no extra cost to you.
Simply call us on 0871 200 0618 as soon as possible and we will organise for the parts to be sent to you. Our aim is to get the replacement parts to you as quickly as possible at no cost to you. In certain circumstances, we ask for photos of any damage either to the item or packaging to help us to improve the packaging for future customers and to assist with any claims.
Please note that for damaged items we need to be notified within 48 hours of the item being delivered. We are unable to accept claims for damaged items that are submitted over 48 hours after delivery.
If there are parts missing then please call us on 0871 200 0618 and confirm which parts you require. We will ship the replacement parts as quickly as possible at no cost to you.
All brand new items are offered with a minimum of 12 months manufacturer's warranty. Items will be warranted for defects in parts or manufacturing during this period. We will at our discretion provide a repair or replacement for any defective parts during this period. Defective goods must be returned, carriage paid to us within a minimum period of 1 year from the date of delivery to the buyer's works address. We also occasionally will sell refurbished or ex-showroom display items on our website, these items are limited to 6 months warranty after which point the repair or replacement costs would be the responsibility of the customer. Goods subjected to fair wear and tear, misuse, defective maintenance, alteration or modification, are excluded from this guarantee. Any warranty will be limited to the price of the goods without any further liability. We specifically exclude any liability for business losses incidental or otherwise, that may arise from the use of warranted goods.
All product specifications shown on our website are provided to us by our suppliers and manufacturers. Other information published on our website has either been supplied by manufacturer’s publications, suppliers, publicists or been gathered from public-domain sources. We will always strive to ensure any information on the website is as accurate and up to date as possible. However, Oakfield Stores cannot guarantee the reliability or the accuracy of the information contained within the pages of our websites. All the actions taken by the user of the website are the responsibility of the individual.
Many of the items we sell feature wood or other natural finishes, these will more often than not have surface imperfections or other minor blemishes, this is an unavoidable feature of natural materials, and something that most customers would find favourable. With wood items, the finish colour can vary slightly between items that are sold as the same finish, and to a certain extent, there can be variation between individual panels on a single unit again this is an unavoidable characteristic of the natural material.
Please do not assume that the colour you see on your computer monitor or a brochure will be the exact colour of the item you will receive this is due to variation in computer monitors and printing processes and is of course unavoidable. If you require a specific colour finish please contact our sales team in advance as we are often able to send finish samples to you out in the post that will provide a much more accurate depiction of the product you will receive.
In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or error in pricing information from our suppliers, taxes or for any other unforeseen reason, we reserve the right to refuse or cancel any orders listed at the incorrect price whether or not the order has been confirmed. If your credit card has already been charged and we subsequently cancel your order, we will, of course, issue a credit to your payment method account to the full amount paid for the cancelled items.
All products and services are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. If for any reason we are not able to supply the goods we will not charge you for these and we will refund any money already paid for them. However, we will not be responsible for compensating you for any other consequential losses you may suffer relating to this.
